SHELL CABIN

This shell cabin perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking the ocean, used to be a coast guard lookout. It has been set up so that the family can eat here whatever the weather surrounded by shells and the fantastic sound of waves crashing on the pebbled beach.

« Shell spiral wall in a cliff top retreat in southwest England ( by ) Blott Kerr-Wilson (…) the most innovative shell artist working today. To create this magnificent spiral, inspired by the "music" and movement of the waves on the beach below, she used only three species of shell : Gold-ringer cowries, white Bubble shells and small dark Nerite. Several thousand shells were needed to complete the piece. »
